Temptation
Translated by Abdellatif Rhesri
I wonder how trees could tease my flame with bafflement
That seduces my organs, one by one
Until I burst into tears
Out of fear
For which I need an unknown cure
And wishes that would tempt me with dusty glow
Or souls that do not have a liking for me
When the voice comes out, overloaded with grass
And the accumulation of longing,
I fear the history of the body ; most desirable
Most splendid.
Then I get back to my cave,
To my weaknesses
And my past experiences
